Posted a letter last week to a friend and only realised I posted it without putting a stamp on it when he took a photo of the letter to tell me he has received it and I thought to myself, "that stamp doesn't look familiar"...

Random acts of kindness do bring much cheer, Kok and I felt as though we won a lottery, that we were lucky enough to have had the letter sent (me), and received (him).
'Kindness day' is a dream of mine, where my children and I, whether in the classroom or my family, will think about and carry out simple acts of kindness to the people around us. Helping the cleaning Aunty in school with her chores for that week, giving a massage to daddy and mummy, bringing ice cold drinks for workers who work under the hot sun, joining volunteer trips/Mission trips etc. Love, is displayed through kindness. And kindness is most often possible in the simplest ways. (:
