let me begin with friday,
had work and rushed off to meet weilin at my busstop after work.

at some time around 4pm, weilin texted me to say she's on her way to redeeming freedom,
for all who do not know, she's been rushing deadlines for projects,
so we decided a long long time ago, that we'll meet up right after her submission of her LAST PROJECT to CELEBRATE! :D
we took a bus to singpost and settled dinner there, (weilin, remind me never to take the combi of baked potato and potato salad as side dishes ever again, can die!) then, since it was supposed to be a celebration, i brought sparkles and childhood-toxic-bubble/balloon to play together!


it was weilin's first time playing sparkles! a guy who helped us with the photo actually asked who's birthday issit, and when we told him it was post projects celebration, ermmm. he must have mocked us slightly in his heart, or thought we're crazy. hahah. oh, and my bubble flew away, like over the mrt track from singpost while weilin's one deflated in her hands, AT THE SAME TIME. we call this, more than just a coincidence?
<3 love love love the amazing time we spend together, cause its always something interesting, like cycle-buyfood-sitdownsomewheretotalkaboutlife'sfutureplans, blowbubbles, iceskating, haha what else? (:
anyway, once again, happy 'be-gone-projects' day to you weilin! take lots of well deserved rest and good breaks and meetups/life sessions! cant wait for MENSA! 0.90cents mushroom soup here i come! (:

after meeting weilin, i took a bus and went to meet darric for selegie taohuay first, cause he suddenly wanted to eat taohuay. went to hk cafe after to meet up with shenn and kok, and coincidentally bumped into justin and daryl who were also going to hk cafe (because theres nowhere else to go at kovan), justin meeting his family and daryl meeting his army friends.


just a shoutout to shenn, that im really impressed at how disciplined you are when it comes to studying! i salute you and want to say JIAYOU JIAYOU! cant wait to see you finally free like a bird in may, then we can meet in nex every other day to talkcocksingsong. yes singsong, i want to singsong.
and to the two most gentlemenliest friends i know of, kok and darric, i shall pray that for you, time in army will FLYYYYY BY and you'll be free like a bird very soon too! (: really blessed to have you all!
took a zoom zoom cab home and slept as zoomzoomly as i got home!

woke up with a shock when mummy came in and asked if im working, i was like 'jin tian she me tian??' (pardon my lousy chinese, its morning okay)
went back to sleep and woke up again to bathe and prepared myself to leave home to fetch the lows!
been a loooonnnnnggggg looonnnnnnnggggg time since we've brought the kids out,
and the adventurous chuas brought them to SNOW CITY.
on the way there i asked them what they'd like to be in the future,

gaius: policeman. then i catch both of you.
me: both of you?
gaius: korkor and jiejie
me: why catch them?
gaius: when they naughty then i catch them.

chloe: chef
me: why chef?
chloe: cause food.

gabriel: train engineer.
me: orh.

yes, we had a jam on the pie cause there was an accident, that explains the questions hahaha. we arrived at snow city and the children, before getting off the car were already gearing up (with their jackets) and asking us to help them zip and button up. i half suspect they think they'll be walking into snow immediately.
went through the usual stuffs, buying tickets and getting a hot drink/some food for the kids before going in to further gear up.
it was, half a chaos getting three kids to put on shoes, jackets and GLOVES.
not sure if the gloves were too huge, they just couldnt fit their fingers, one in each slot in the glove.
i was like 'nooo, here got no finger, here got two fingers, so wriggle your fingers and make one go over the other side..' hahaha never knew it would be such a difficult task.
finally went in and yes, the children were elated! so colddddd, so much snooowwww!
clap clap to gabriel low who managed to slide down on his own even in his first try!
chloe didnt take the slide but guess she enjoyed watching her korkor and didi slide from way up high.
a man got injured cause of a collision and had blood on his head, and i was trying my hardest to not let the already frightened chloe see it.
all in all, the kids had fun, the adults, did too, but would have preferred not sliding together with the kids (:
we brought home five photos, and one is now bluetacked on my wall.
