STRETCH COMM!

had a really fun time,
fulfilling, enjoyable, refreshing and learnt many things as well.
my life fills so void of purpose after stretch ended,
like all things have just came to an end,
and there's nothing to look forward to already D:

first day, the stretch comm went down earlier to rekee the beach
and to check in to the chalet,
tried whacking slowmo retarded flies with my bamboo stick,
after that some of us stayed back in the chalet to clean up the place,
mopped, moved the bed, planned the rooming thing.
was quite excited to see the stretchies,
and to hear their cheers with their really creative names :D
so we waited for them to come back from their mrt hunt,
and after that we got them all settled down in their room and
tried forcing them to sleep.

Day 2, woke up early in the morning for prayer,
after that me and daryl went down to the beach with the camp assistants to set up the beach stations.
had fun walking around, observing different groups and people,
and watching people play their stations.
ohh, i saw a monkey as well, LIKE 5-10 STEPS AWAY FROM ME ONLY OKAY.
then we had lunch and bathing time.
left for church and had dinner at aircon coffeeshop! so cool :D
and we had our dynamic and impactful service,
im sure everyone felt the presence of God in our midst, enjoyed the time of praise and worship and learned from Ps Aaron's preaching.

God speaks to us in many ways and to me, He speaks through songs.
'Break my heart for what breaks Yours'
'Everything i am for Your Kingdom's cause'
'This alabastar jar, is all i have of worth'
'My greatest honour will always be, to serve my Lord and King'

We headed back to our chalet after service and had investment time.
was fun seeing how people bid for items, especially when we had items such as pillows up for bid.
'Comfort comes before anything' haha, see how desperate our stretchies were after their first pillowless night :D
Lights out at 1am and we woke them up at 230am for a SECRET night activity (right yining?)
and now im ouch here and ouch there all over.

Next morning, we had a mini 'Do it all for you' day!
was amazed at how our people went out and helped the community,
was really encouraged by their enthusiasm :D
We also had the skit presentation,
some, i tell you, i'll never be able to forget,
can so imagine talking to yn, xl, zh and eunice abt this when we only have 2 teeth in our mouth next time :D ('I can walkk!' and 'The angel appeared')
We ended the day off with a praise session led by jonavan,
everyone squuuuueeezed into the small room and sang as Jonavan led.
Praise not only makes God pleased, it makes us happy as well.
I dont know how to put it, but it really warmed my heart to see so many people praising God from their hearts :D

all in all, I had a great time,
and i thank everyone,
who have played a part for Stretch 2009.
