signs you should watch out for to know you are addicted to a show:
1. you want to watch it when you're extremely happy
2. you want to watch it when you're depressed
3. you want to watch it when you're bored and have nothing to do
4. you want to watch it when you have assignments due the next day or exams round the corner
5. you want to watch it when you cant sleep
6. you want to watch it when you want to sleep
7. you like their fb pages and become their fans
8. you tell everyone about the funny episodes you've watched and tell them to watch it too
9. you become super happy when you meet with someone who is also an addict
10. you start to wonder if the show will be held in sg, and if it were, would you go support
11. you tell yourself you have to go to korea one day, and in the itinerary there must be the segment "visit kang gary's restaurant"
12. when you're on the streets or in shopping malls, you ask yourself why do so many people look like the casts (you might even think you're hallucinating)

yes,
i am an official addict of the korean variety, running man.
running man, daebak! (13. you also start speaking and responding to others in the language of the show, sometimes verbally but most often only in your head.) (oh, and 14. you'd tell others the show is a therapy, so it gives you the reason to keep watching it :D)

Oh how I miss you so. (:

This is Oliver (:
Oliver was in the kids on canvas camp last week,
he's a really sweet boy and definitely a darling to all he meets.

but anyway, he really looks like someone in church.
and ive proven it with people who could guess it right on their 1st or 2nd try!
(but oliver's still way cuter though. er hem.)
so... if you're in bethel, guess who? :D

Gaius

Needed a little help from gaius for my project today. So I ended up bringing him out for dinner.
Feels really different, its nice to have brought him out alone! (:

Gaius is a really sweet boy, a little mischievous, but you'll always see how we loves you back the way you love him. Really thankful for the lows, from mama and papa low, who has always been like my spiritual parents, to low baos 1,2,3&4. They're a joy and they're family. <3

SYF 2012:
Gold with Honours,
Best Display Band- TK Band

thats a photo of their awesome ending,
it was a well deserved win, really could see TK significantly stronger than the other bands.
tk had their ever impressive gimmicks, this time bringing out the imba sg flag,
it was a good show through and through, right from the starting :D thumbs up for them!

been awhile since me and zihui last scream and shout as fans for our favourite band,
really nostalgic feeling as we sat and watch the competition.
we met some teachers, some ex-schoolmates who became teachers and other ex-schoolmates who are alumnus of tkband.

hahah, one of the most funny thing was that i think the entire tk cohort who were there didnt hear that tkband received gold with honours.
because it was like this,
Announcer: "Tanjong Katong Secondary Sch- Gold...."
TK supporters: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
so we all didnt hear her say the "with honours".

sooooooooo proud of tkband,
sooooooooo happy i was there to witness their win as well :D

special mention for a few other schools:

springfield secondary school, with their amazing drum major.
waiting for a good video to be uploaded before i re-watch his performance again.
i like the way Eunice's students put it,
"its like he has a magnet in his hands"
amazing throws and catches, when the crowd cheered for him from every direction,
you'll know he really deserves the award!

and Bowen for their impressive music and super neat movements.
they were one of the neatest, just look at their straight lines!
a pity they didnt have any drum major and they didnt 'huo-chu-qu' with their gimmicks.
oh and i think the bowen supporters deserve a special mention, cause they were super nice and sporting, cheering for other bands and super super supportive of their own school band too.

my other reason for going, other than watching tk was for Eunice's sweat and blood,
Montfort Band! was all tensed up for them while they were performing, cringing when the drum major dropped his mace and anxious when the results were going to be announced.
i guess it makes a difference when you know the people,
your heart just goes out to them!
anyway, good job and well done,
ms chuas are proud of you! :D

batam getaway :D
; 10:01 PM | 0 Comments

went for my batam getaway last sunday and just uploaded the photo on fb.
really miss the sea, the sun, the food, the hotel, the people and the im-away-from-singapore-and-i-dont-have-to-think-about-anything feeling. ahhhhhh~
was a pretty fulfilling trip with nicolette,
went shopping, did banana boat but did not get flipped over, swam, sauna-ed, jacuzzi-ed, did massage, slept like logs, ate like pigs, attempted atv and made new friends.

thanks nic, for making the trip even possible!
although im sure you had a horrible sleepless night on monday when we came back.

looking forward to the next time, i can cross the seas to other countries! :D
