let every day be a happy anne's day! :D

my celebration started with meeting up with my dearies, phebe and raddy at cineleisure for pastamania.
not so much of the celebration ive come to realised, but the catching up, the heart to heart talks that was worth everything.
thank you loves, you make ordinary days seem extraordinary. <3



one day before my birthday,
i was pleasantly surprised by my colleagues at abrakadoodle with three sweeeet cups of icecream from marble slab!
like jamie said 'we all look evidently happier after eating this.'
and to our surprise, the slogan was 'find happiness within'
i wish i could tell them how much i love them, loveliest colleagues ever! <3



i received a birthday treat from letisha, best friend, king, jonathan wee.
though it wasnt at three inch sin, oishii pizza was good enough!
thank you king, you've been an awesome friend, a great support. <3



on the day of my birthday,
i had buffet lunch at grand mercure roxy hotel.
with fabulous laksa, and cold prawns, and durian paste (which i do not eat, but my sister loves)
thanks eunice, i wouldnt be who i am without you. <3


went home after lunch, before preparing to meet yining at the mrt station at 530pm.
little did i know, dear yining had already planted a helium balloon at my door and ambushed herself somewhere i'll never notice! say wow!
i had to go around to different shops as instructed to request for my birthday balloon.
i then finally found my way to raindrops cafe at scape.
cosy cafe + good food + BEST FRIENDS/SISTERS= puuuuurrrrrfffeeectttt! <3
thank you girls, birthdays/growing old seems a lot easier to accept with you all by my side.
thank you zihui, for the girlfriend promise, to be there 'for every other birthday.' ily! <3


2 september! :D i met up with my dearest tribemate, clique, bestfriend, mother, soulmate for a simple but fulfilling dinner at bedok 85 to celebrate TEACHERS' DAY!
satay, porridge, chicken wings, otah and AHBOLING!
thank you weilin, its always nice to have someone to escape reality with and talk about anything to. <3



3 september, met phebe (you know how important you are, and thank you again for everything) who brought me to tampines safra to be suuuuurrrpriisedd by honey, xin, kok and darric.
poly friends who are closest to my heart, 
to all of you, poly life wouldnt be what it was without any of you. fun, filled with laughter, and most amazingly filled with warmth and genuine love.
thank you phebe. you're everything a best friend could be. <3



last but not least, my family had crab together on saturday night.
eunice told me, quoting ps joyce 'i dont care how poor a man is, as long as he has a family, he is rich.'
thank you eunice, aaron and mummy, because of you, im rich. (haha, literally and figuratively)
yea, and i want you to know, my family, the three of you, mean the world to me. i love you all very much! <3

birthday 2010, ive come to understand that in life, people come and go.
it pains me to know that there are people ive lost along the way,
but it made me realised that what matters more is to cherish the ones that are in my life now.
to all those who celebrated together with me, those who sent birthday cards and gifts, those who sent birthday messages and fb wishes, thank you. <3
